Walking Tour of Trefann Street
When: Sunday October 9, 2005 at 11:30 AM
Where: 5 Trefann Street
Toronto, ON
Canada
M5A 3A9

For those interested in seeing the location (now "gentrified") where the family first lived upon arrival in Canada. Shlomo and Chana Posner Solomon lived and took in boarders at 5 Trefann Street. Their son Harry Solomon established the scrapyard in that neigbourhood and Harry and Eva Solomon Lipton lived there until the early 1960's.
Docent/Guides included family members. We gathered at 11:30 AM. The tour lasted about an hour or so.
Following the tour, and before we commenced our afternoon activities at the Miles Nadal JCC, participants stopped for a bite to eat. After brunch, we gathered at the main Reunion venue at the JCC at Bloor and Spadina (750 Spadina Avenue).

Thank you to Coordinator: Ian Solomon!
